Michele has trained and run bloodhounds since 2003. During which time she & her bloodhounds have worked with the city of Bend Police Dept.
Michele began her career in the Mt. Hood, Oregon area where she opened the Massage Therapy Center & Athletic Club at Bowmans’ Golf and Country Club in Welches, OR. This was when she started working with Olympic athletes.
In 1980 Michele moved her business to Bend, OR where she owns a Medical & Sports Massage Clinic. Here she continues her specialties of Medical Massage, Sports Massage and Reflexology by working with physicians and pro-athletes. She has taught massage and reflexology at 3 colleges in Oregon over a period of 20 years.
Since 1996 she has been doing canine rehab/massage at her Tender Touch Therapy for Dogs business. She works with veterinarians in OR, WA, ID & CA. Michele has also trained and shown dogs for several years and in 2009 while she was letting her finished puppy 'grow up a bit' & not going to shows, she found that she missed the dog show environment too much.
So Michele decided to take her business "on the road". Thus her DOG SHOW MASSAGE booth can now be seen at shows in CA, WA, OR, & ID. She has been extremely well-received and busy at each of the shows with over 2800 new clients; averaging 48 shows per year. Look for her at even more shows in 2015!!!
Michele teaches seminars on canine massage therapy and movement.
